Eileen DeLucia, Councilmember, District 15
Eileen has lived in Eastchester for 7 years. She has sat on the board of the Green Knolls/Greenvale Community Association, coached EYSA soccer, and frequently provides pro bono legal services to communities in need, most recently on cases involving the #metoo movement and the Voting Rights Act. Eileen is a commercial litigator whose day-to-day practice focuses on securities litigation and the financial markets. She received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from the College of the Holy Cross and her Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, where she was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. She has been named to the Crain’s New York Business list of Notable Women in Law in 2021, recognized as a Woman Worth Watching by Profiles in Diversity Journal, and has been honored as one of Super Lawyers’ Top Women Lawyers and Rising Stars many years running. She has been a speaker on issues related to women’s advancement in the workplace and sits on her firm’s Black History Month and Women’s Affinity Program committees. Eileen and her husband Jimmy are raising their three children here. Come fall, Aila will be a third-grader at Greenvale; Rory will be a first-grader at Waverly; and Henry will continue being the Green Knolls toddler welcome wagon.
